Content Ideas

Competition - A competition because it allows the viewers something they can win every time they watch the show
Audience interaction such as - Call ins, questions from tweets etc as it gets the audience to get involved with the show and makes them feel apart of it

I would want there to something where the audience can ask questions, such as there will be an image of a tweet from twitter and it will appear on screen with the question this gets the audience involved so they feel more a part of the show. There will be about 3 Videos. Having a quiz about music will be good because than the audience can join in and have fun at home.
A competition on set such as what artist made this song.

Studio Design
A area where the presenter will sit behind a desk, and posters/pictures of music related things around the wall behind where the people will sit, a small table around where they are sitting,

For the studio design there will be a couple of chairs around a small round table where they will sit, a chair for the presenter on the right sitting away and a chairs on the left, behind them will be posters/pictures of music related things on the wall such as artists or song names, this will be set up where in front of the green screen this allows us to change the background to something more appealing as there are different colours of backgrounds.
Also at the start of the show i will have my presenters walking towards the classroom outside, i want to do this because i feel like this will add something unique to it as they are walking towards the camera and talking rather than sitting staring at the camera.

Sketch Of Background
Two chairs for the guests and one chair for the presenter who will sit on the left while the guest(s) sit on the left with a table in front of them which will have papers for interviews coming up, set on a green screen where posters/pictures are planted on the walls.

Visual Style
Graphics at the beginning with the name of the show and logo and than the camera starts on my presenter who will introduce the show, my camera angles and shots will not be everywhere i will keep it simple by just using mid-shots long shots and close ups
Presentation Style
I don't want my presenter to be too formal as the audience base is quite young this is because if i had my presenter speaking formal the whole time than the audience will get bored quite easily and stop watching which is not what were aiming for.
I want my presenter to be casual smart as i think this would appeal to my audience much better.
Colours which would be used are Black and white or red and blue as they are primary colours and red and blue are the most popular colours that people like

Job Roles + Responsibilities

Camera Operator -  As a camera operator you are given a important role, as you are the one who is recording the action, without the camera operator nothing would be filmed which would mean game shows, football games, magazine shows, and every-show in general wouldn't get recorded as there is no one recording, so this role is important for the viewers as the camera operators are the ones who get all the scenes. Camera Operators are set out by directors, so to be a good camera operator you should be able to follow instructions that are given while working as a team,
Skills -As a camera operator you must be able watch, listen and to be prepared for anything, they also give advice to actors in order for the camera operator to receive the best results this helps them make a what they are getting across to the viewers and making the shots even better. A skill of using the cameras is using the cameras correctly because there will be problems if the Camera Operator doesn't even know how to turn the camera on. As the camera operator you must be able to listen to instructions that are given with as much detail as possible, the more detail that the camera operator gets the better and this is important because with more detail it is more enjoyable for the viewers.
Duties - If they have to go to a different location to film they must be ready at all times for this and bring all their equipment for the recording, even the most obvious things such as the camera and tripod, without these no recording will be done. The Camera Operator must know what is going on, such as he should know all the movements which are going to be done as if following a script of what to record as they must focus on their point of interest such as in football, you will always have a camera following the person with the ball or just following the ball in general.
Qualification - You do not need any qualifications to be a camera operator but having experience with media by using cameras and knowing all about camera techniques, angles and shots will help.

Sound Mixing - As a sound mixer you should always be prepared before hand, this means having the correct sounds ready before the show in the right order, this could be by recording the sounds they need in a special place for a specific moment for the show/film.
Skills - You must be good at mixing sounds, such as you don't want a sound to be too loud or too quite where the audience won't be able to hear it but also playing music or sound effects at the correct time, this is important because it could change how interesting the show/film is, the sound mixer controls everything to do with sound even the tempo/speed of the the sound, so the sound mixer must be good at selecting the right speed at which the sounds must be played, this helps keeps the viewers interest because without sound the audience may be left wondering what is going on and get bored. When operating with the mixer you must know what you are doing because if you don't than it could end up making the film/show horrible because of all the sounds in the wrong places at the wrong timings.
Duties - As a sound mixer you are the one who has to be ready to play a specific sound at a specific point, because no one likes watching something silent as it is just simply boring so while making sure you have the specific sound you must make sure you play it at the right volume, not to quite, but not to loud for the action that is shown.
Qualification - A qualification of 5-10 years in working as Technicians/Boom operators as well as having a degree in a media related subject would give you a lot of experience with working as a sound mixer.

Vision Mixing - The vision mixers job is to switch between different graphics or change the scene shown on the TV, this is important for the audience because it allows a variety of scenes that keep the viewers interested and to continue to watch, without the Vision Mixer there would not be switching between shots for the audience to enjoy.
Skills - As a skill of vision mixing you must know the right timings to switching between shots which will be told by the director, because if you do not have this skill you could end up putting visuals up too early or too slow and it could leave the audience confused and this is not what is wanted, the vision mixer must be able to cut at the correct times to create a smooth switch between the scenes which allows the audience to follow and understand what is going on.
Duties - As a duty of the vision mixer, you must have all the graphics for the production before hand so when the show is ready to be played the vision mixer can use all the graphics that he/she has prepared but while having them prepared he/she has to know the right timings in when to show them, because if the graphics where shown at the wrong time it could ruin the whole show. Vision Mixer is important because they are the person who give the audience the graphics so they must always be alert and ready to work for long periods of time without losing focus as they need to be ready to display the graphics.
Qualification - No qualification is needed for a vision mixing but having a degree in media related subjects or Drama would give you a good base understanding in what you must do and accomplish in your role

Directing - The Director sets our the shooting plan and helps set locations which will be filmed, they are the main boss around, they tell the crew what they need to do and how things should look and how they should be shot, because of this the director has the most important role, the director is the person who keeps the order and stops everything becoming a mess as they are the one giving the instructions.
Skills - As a director you need to have a natural ability to speak clearly and communicate good with everyone as the director is at the top, this means everyone listens to the director as they are the one who sorts everything out, when directing you must always think about what other people would want to watch, this is because when they are finished with the product does this appeal to a bunch of people or not.
Duties - Being a director it is always important to know everything that is going on, knowing the script and making sure people stick to it is important as if something was not included or they did not do what was planned this could ruin the show/film as you would having missing clips, so the director must keep everything on track and make sure everyone sticks to the script, also the director must make sure that everyone is doing their job properly and make sure they actually show up for the work because missing someone could be crucial to the film/show and cause delays.
Qualification - No qualification is needed to be a director but having education in Media Studies and Drama would help a lot as you will than have a good understanding of what you have to do as your role as a director.

Set Designer - The Set Designer works with the team to set up an environment which would be recorded to set a more realistic feel to the show/film.
Skills - A skill for the set designer would be to naturally set up a design for the recording and make it appeal to the audience more, so for setting up and planning the set designer must have good plans on what they are going to do, for example before they do the set they would draw it out and get feedback on what they good improve on to make the scene more appealing.
Duties - As a set designer they have to set up the scenes which are most appealing at what they are aiming towards, this is done by adding furniture, decorations and colours to set the mood, by doing all this it could improve the audiences attraction to the film/show.
Qualification - Qualifications for becoming a set designer is none, having media studies and art would help, art would help for drawing out the set design and media for knowing everything of which is going on.

Lighting Desk - The lighting desk will set up lights to help fit the mood of the show/film such as if it is more of a joyful show the lights would be bright but if it was more of a scary show the lights would be dim so you could hardly see what is going on, the lighting desk work as a team to get the correct lighting for what goes well with the genre.
Skills - A skill would be knowing how to use the lights and how to get the correct lighting balance so it is not too bright and is in the eyes of the people on set or to dark where the cameras can't pick up the action which is going on.
Duties - The duty of the lighting desk is to correct the lighting before the show/film is shown, because if when they are recording and the cameras did not fit the lighting standards they want it is the lighting desks job to adjust the brightness and fix this, without the lighting desk most shows/films would look horrible due to the lighting not being at the correct level.
Qualification - No qualification is needed as the skills are learnt on the job, but you can do some lighting jobs for better experience allowing you to be able to do this role with no problem.

Floor Manager - The floor manager acts has the director by given the crew instructions, this role is close to being an assistant manager by the duty it is given, the director and floor manager are always communicating with each other and before they start shooting the floor manager must check that everything is safe to work around so that nobody gets hurt while recording.
Skills - As a floor manager you must not make any noise as the cameras could pick it up, so a skill of the floor manager is they must be able to communicate without making noise, such as when they are about to record they would use their fingers to do a count down, this means their communication must be clear for the actors because if the floor manager gave the wrong instruction this could end up with the whole scene having to be done all over again because of one miss understanding so the floor manager must have clear communication skills while making no noise.
Duties - As a floor manager you must make sure that you are giving the correct information such as which camera is recording the actors and how much time is left as the only person who knows this will be the floor manager as they are getting orders through a head set.
Qualification - No qualification is needed but doing Media Studies and Drama would be helpful as you will know more about what you have to do.

Graphics Generation - The graphic designer in the person who creates all the graphics for the show/film they make the film/show more appealing for the audience.
Skills - As a skillful graphic designer you want to have a good imagination with good creativity, this allows for more adventurous graphics and something different from the original boring graphics, they need to know what colours work well together and how well the whole graphic would appeal to the audience.
Duties - As a graphic designer it is your job to supply the show/film with all the graphics that is needed such as the opening scene where their would be text or some animation for the introduction, the graphic designer must think about the graphics he/she is making because it has to fit the audience it is trying to attract.
Qualification - No qualification is needed, having good experience in editing programs where you can design your own graphics would help as you already have experience in doing this.

VT Operator - VT stands for Video Tape, the VT Operator works with the video tape equipment which records the footage and also plays it back which would be used for sporting shows such as football where they can than replay to goals and highlights of the game as work quickly on editing them.
Skills - As a VT Operator you want to have good timing because for example when the presenters say we will show you this clip the VT Operator must be alert to when this is said and be ready to play the video, if the VT Operator did not do this, this could leave the presenters in a awkward position just staring into the cameras.
Duties - The VT Operator must make sure that they have the correct clips before the production is shown, because if they have the wrong clip than it would all go wrong as it is not the correct clip, so the VT Operator must always double check when having their clips ready and because of this some videos may not be shown, when they do have the correct clips they need to know how long they will show it because for example if they were showing a music video they would only want to show a small amount of it not all of the music video.
Qualification - You don't actually need a qualification to be a VT operator but doing media and having experience in media will help you with having experience going into this role.

Presenter - A presenter is important as they are the ones who actually make the show, and having no presenter would pretty much mean their would be no show because their is no presenter to present the show to the audience.
Skills - The Presenter learns a script before presenting the show, and because of this they must remember their whole script as if they don't they would be left their clueless what to do and this wouldn't look professional so it is important for a presenter to have a good memory as well as confidence, confidence because they could be talking to thousands of people and all their eyes are focused on the presenter so having good confidence would help the presenter breeze through the show with no problems without getting distracted.
Duties - The presenters duties is to arrive on time because if they do not show up on time the show could be delayed and this is not good for the show and can get people annoyed and could lead to people to stop watching, so people rely on the presenter to be on time and deliver the show as they are the main person that the audience see on the show.
Qualification - You don't essentially need a qualification you just need to basically have experience of being able to deliver in-front of a camera without hesitation, so basically you would need confidence with a clear voice and keep calm in-front of multiple cameras.

Hierarchy - Here i will talk about who i think is in charge of who and how the industry runs.

Director - i believe the director is at the top due to their leadership and also as they are the ones who say what goes and what doesn't, they are the main person in charge here.

Camera operator - I have chosen camera operator under the director because the director knows what he wants recorded and the only person who can record what he wants is the camera operator so i believe the camera operator and director work closely together

Set Designer - I chose set designer thirdly because again the director knows what he/she wants recorded for the cameras but in order for that to happen they need the set the be designed around how they need it, so the set designer is important here as i think the camera operators will tell the set designer how they think it should be to get the perfect shot

Lighting Desk - Lighting desk fourth because when the set is designed and is perfect, they need to get the perfect lighting in order to get the perfect show/film they are looking for, i believe they would be working closely to the camera operator and set designer on doing this.

Sound Mixer + Vision Mixer - Now i have chosen them both working closely together because i believe that these are important because they are the ones who make the show happen because without the vision mixer the screen would be blank with nothing coming up but without the sound mixer there would be no sound so without these two there would be nothing happening.

Graphics Generator - I have put the graphics generator further down because i the graphics are not on screen for a very long time but they are still important but not as important as the jobs above.

VT Operator - This i have chosen second last because without the jobs above they wouldn't really have anything to show or do.

Presenter - simply last because without all the jobs above he/she can't even do their job because they would have no set, no sound, no visual which means nothing to present.
